Here are just a few of the photos I took earlier today at the Diesel Black/Gold Fall-Winter 2012 runway show. I loved a lot of the pieces that made their way down the runway, especially the leather and zipper detailed jackets, sweaters, etc. Some of my major shots came out a bit blurry because I had a lens mishap midway in but I gotta say that there is a major jacket moment, the cuts and colors of a lot of the jackets & coats were wicked in this collection- More to come!

Loved how simple layers turned to wicked baroque-ish prints dipped and tricked in ombre cool-ness. Major variety, awesome cuts and draping accompanied by awesome details and sequin things effervescently dancing to the step of the models. Definitely some eye catching pieces in this collection. Especially this wrap-like jacket with leather sleeves, you know, I am habitually in-love with anything with leather sleeves.

I know you all must think that this without a doubt seems to be my favorite ~~look~~ piece OR that I must of sold all my other things becuase there is nothing else I ever seem to want to wear. Well, whatever o.k. I can't help it + it's techincally my birthday month so I get away with whatever I want for 18 19 more days yay leap year! -I've been having some seriously awesome and motivating talks with some seriously awesome and motivating people (read: new team Jay Strut) and all I can say is thank you! When you are in a comfortable place it's so hard to want to push the boundaries. I'm learning that I have the power to do whatever I put my mind to and I am also learning that when you are succeeding and progressing, you can't looking back, you have to just go!.... Anyways, it's past midnight and I have to catch a flight to New York in the morning so we will talk soon!

I am so amazed that after like weeks of curating, days of preparing and then finally hours of packing I was actually able to fit all that I did (which I still can't believe I did) fit into my new Rimowa luggage. This luggage seriously has all the qualities I need when travelling, it- itself is super lightweight. It is split down the center and is completely open inside which means I get to completely use both sides of the luggage. AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST it's one of the best 4 wheel luggages I have spun around, even when full this thing glides like an eagle in open skies haha..

There is something so magical and ethereal, so villainous fairy-like about Prabal Gurung's Prabal’s Nobuyashi Araki’s “Sensual Flowers” inspired Spring 2012 collection and ad campaign. Maybe it's the simplicity. The fact that one has so much talent he doesn't need bells & whistles in the background for added delight or to really capture the message.. The dresses speak for themselves oh and having one of the world’s highest paid Victoria's Secret Model Candice Swanepoel werq it out doesn't hurt either right!. Power, elegance, vibrance, life, luxury... Oh I could go on and on!

I almost forgot how much I loved winter. I began getting dressed in the morning, precisely adding layer by layer then remembered THIS is exactly what I LOVE about this time of the year... Here I'm rocking a t-shirt, a hoodie, a faux-leather jacket & then a faux-shearling jacket on top, which may I add was ONLY $15 at Forever XXI? No I'm serious. BUT ANYWAY... The downfall to this love-affair is the whole "I gotta pack for Fashion Week" scenario which really means I feel like I have to pack literally EVERYTHING for New York.. HMMMM.. Time to edit!

It's clearly evident I have a thing for Givenchy shoes, I mean, how couldn't I? Have you seen these things! I am swooning over the light and futuristic look of these shoes. They have a very Japanese feel and I do think they are the perfect height and will hug the ankle perfectly. Sometimes you get sneakers that go to wide at the tongue which makes things look sloppy! These will definitely tailor in a look. I hope they come in all black on black on black? Oh.. and for what it's worth, I think they are pretty fairly priced. Luisa Via Roma has them at about $600 which is pretty good when you think about what your getting!

Can I just start off by saying.. THAT LEATHER JACKET needs to be a part of the greater good as in a part of my wardrobe... The Diesel Black/Gold Fall/Winter 2012 Men's collection is filled with a bunch of must-have pieces and styles for men with (what I love about it) a more acquaintable name. For the season's collection you get a sort of whimsical feel- almost a super-modern Johnny Depp-Sweeny Todd goes punk-rock chic kinda sense featuring cool leathers and bomber jackets, the plays on textures and the always necessary pops of color. One major thing I adored was the breast pocket detail cutting into the lapel so sharp and ingenious.

Also digging the masculine extravagance's with fur lined coats & collars, mixes of colors -done right- and the cropped jackets -sticking on with trend... I have had the pleasure of wearing pieces from Object x Danier and might I say the leather is without a doubt top quality, super soft, super luxxe.. I mean, it's literally a dream! The cuts, are disgustingly perfect like so shapely and hugging, not squishing and annoying, the fabric moves so well with your body! The details are without a doubt point, on point, so I mean.... What more can you ask for?.. Well.. In this case, COLOR!!.. My knees are going weak for those gorgeous blue leather cropped trousers, neon bright accessories and that breif-case-ish looking thing with shoulder strap = UGH, YES! (lol).. If you haven't noticed I've been remarkably intrigued by menswear the past couple of seasons. With men's fashion week underway in Milan & Paris you can blame my recent fixation on designs making their way down the runways with perfectly placed pockets, sweet, super-smooth color-combo's, gorgeous textures and subtle but necessary details like those above from Neil Barret's F/W 2012 men's collection. Major eyes on the jackets from this collection again the combination's of textures, the colors and without a doubt the cuts and lengths. I feel major I-Want syndrome arising due to that red sleeved varsity sleeved, cropped pea-coat. A signature move = the shearing trims as oppose to classic furry fur's on again, coats, and the cuffed ankle's on trousers! All PLUSSES in my book....of menswear... My favorite pieces? The quilted, waist-length puffer coat with non-quilted arms and OBVIOUSLY the red sleeved coat...

Thought this would be a cool picture in the moment so I snapped away, then when I thought about it, with the way things are going, between the sporadic price increases and the extreme lack of availability for the Celine Luggage Tote, who knows, it might possibly become something along the lines of the next Hermes Birkin Bag. I don't see why not. They have just recently released a luggage tote in a special smooth leather which is said to be completely hand made. So, with that being said let's see what happens. I say that within the next couple of years if Celine continues to play their cards correctly, then luggage tote may be somewhere around $3,000 & upwards!.

I recently received a piece of the highly anticipated David Beckham x H&M Bodywear collection the other day from the lovely team over at H&M Canada. The packaging is cool, it features a hot shot of the BECK himself and features a sweet magnetic closure so those of you whom are obsessed with DB can reuse this box as a clutch or something haha.. The collection will be available starting February 2nd 2012 in 1,800 H&M stores worldwide as well as online. I've already thrown my briefs in the wash & am already wearing them because they are literally SO LIGHT and comfortable, almost as if they aren't even there =O

Here are just a few... of my favorites from the collection.. From every little thing, down to the details, Prabal Gurung can do no wrong. Sunglasses to shoes this pre collection is the epitome of "MUST-HAVE" for Fall 2012. Such great inspiration. I am also such a fan of Gurung's unique and mastermind way of staying trendy with the PRINT obsession (floral) but altering it with this kaleidoscope pattern on dresses & separates. Finally I just stopped and strutted my stuff though the doorless entrance and gazed around! Was instantaneously taken by the Kanye West Glow In The Dark coffee-table book they had laying there. Than I proceeded to check out the racks, and boy was I surprised! There was some cool things here and there and a really dope assortment of 3.1. A NEW YEAR ALREADY!?.. I almost can't believe it, but guess what, this is it! Is it weird that this is the year I feel strongest about what I can accomplish? YES!! I finally brought one home..O.k. so, if you've been staying up to date on twitter you will definitely know that the other night I came home with a very surprising surprise. While on Lincoln Rd. here in Miami the other night I stopped by one of my favourite stores in the city, Alchemist & right away went for gold (like, literally!).. After countless time spent scouting one out while here and days, weeks, YEARS obsessing......Allow me to introduce my new silver hardware (with feet may I add) grainy leather, CELINE Luggage Tote.. It's about time I start using a proper and BLACK top handle bag! I rarely use any of my others, i.e. my Balenciaga City, Burberry Tote, LV Speedy, Etc - at all because they are NOT black! Anyways, now, stop, proceed... and drool with me!!! I am in LOVE! The leather on this bag almost feels like a togo of a Hermes Birkin and from what I understand it is a newer addition (Fall 2011) grainy leather so it is more sturdy and will resist wear and slouchyness a lot more better than previous similar styles. His outlook on life is so clear and he is so in tune with himself, his elegance, he is so well spoken and knows how to keep such a straight face. There are so many more traits about this man I adore. Can you believe men over 33.5" & women over 35.5" around the waist are now considered overweight in Japan. A company is facing a $19MILLION dollar penalty if they don't get their employees to slim down. Anyways, YES, I am in love with some looks from this collection and YES, I am without a doubt a) contemplating those 3/4 two tone black & white trousers, ideal for twisting a basic look and b) YES I am gravitating much closer towards the look of the Chanel Boy Bag.. This was a really cool show, lots of very unique interpretations of the classic Chanel look blended gently, stirred, not shaken in this case with the ethnic infusions Uncle Karl got his inspiration from!

After months of speculation word shot out that designer Raf Simons will be taking John Galliano's former position as the creative director and designer for the house of Christian Dior.. Wow, what a way to end 2012, biggest fashion-stowy-EVAH!!!! Can't wait to see how this turns out. And if it's even true! I guess we shall just wait attentively for word from LVMH HQ!!... Now the real question!!...& how does this make you feel?

With Christmas around the corner it is time to start thinking of some holida purchases! Some of you are probably screaming "ARE YOU DRUNK!? WHO DEBATES THIS PURCHASE!? JUST F^%&*NG GET THEM ALREADY!!!!.. But seriously, if you read my blog and see my style posts you will without a doubt notice I am ALWAYS no matter what in Doc Marten boots. I mean, I should be their campaign model! I am such an advocate for them booties... O.k... but on a serious note, it's been a year plus now I have been really considering rocking the Christian Louboutin Rollerboy Spike Studded Flats. Seriously, I really need to know right now. Could you see me rocking these? Maybe when I am in Miami next week I will swing by the new Christian Louboutin store and give these puppies a try, being that they're there and all.. Monsieur Louboutin also did them in a cool all black everything style but I love the silver spikes.... WHAT DO I DO!?

H&M x Dragon Tattoo

On December 14th, H&M stores worldwide will be launching the very edgy and super-cool Dragon Tattoo collection designed by, Trish Summerville, the costume designer of the film "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo". It will be located in the Divided department as well as online. The collection is inspired by Lisbeth Salander, the leading character of the film "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", which has its premiere at cinemas around the world during Christmas time (from the Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy, directed by David Fincher). This collection consists of really cool "basics" and by basics I mean amazingly detailed pieces that you can rock every day in different ways. I am on the hunt for those ribbed, Balmain-esque motorcycle tight pants so be careful, don't you know I will trample anyone that tries to get in my way @ H&M collaboration launches? haha...
