Here I am in Bangkok, the mecca of Thailand and one of the most busiest and bustling cities I have ever encountered (aside from New York!) The first part of our stay in Bangkok we experienced what the city had to offer, the beautiful temples (yes, we went to the Golden Temple and to see the Reclining Buddha) which actually gave me goose-bumps. The beautiful stories and history of these buildings, shrines and sculptures were inspiring and so magical. The next part of Bangkok was the food and the evening festivities. The city really comes to life at night and did not hesitate at our arrival, we got to see the busy street-markets including the legendary, Khao San Road. One of Thialand’s most famous street-market filled with miles of vendors and things to do and see.
