Hey yeah, that's me up there, holding on for dear life and stuff haha!! The next experience we encountered was one that took a bit more courage than riding an elephant across a ravine and up a mountain. This one took a little more than that. This one involved jumping from tree to tree like a monkey, better yet, TARZAN. This experience was Zip-Lining! The Chiang Mai 'Jungle Flight' is such a thrill-seekers dream! It took lots of guts to let go and just fly away but when you did, it was worth it... At the end of it all was one of the most freeing and self-motivating things I've ever probably done and really brought out some real emotion from all of us! Lot's of screaming and hysterical laughing while zipping so fast from platform to platform... ‘Jungle Flight Chaing Mai’ is an entire ‘eco-adventure’ stretching around a humongous jungle with trees which seemed hundreds of feet in the air and views between them that took my breath away. The staff is as dedicated as they are educated and aware! They made this that much more funny and easy then I even thought it would be!
Before taking to the ‘Jungle flight’ and zip-lining from tree to tree we woke up at 5:00AM and journeyed to a remote location, remote but filled with people. We got out of the car and in the middle of the street took our shoes off and there they were, Monks of all ages here to bless the travelled people who came bearing gifts and praise for their alms. This was such a spiritual experience and one moment I will never forget. It really helped put things into perspective for me.
