For Fall/Winter 2013 the John Galliano Homme runway collection is inspired by contrast in textures, fit, and colors: mix/match, asymmetry/fit, drape/shape, slim/volume... All this was evident in the array of patterns, layers and details making their way down the runway at Men's Paris Fashion Week.
One thing I love about Fall/Winter time is the excessive amount of layering I get to do and was that ever a highlight of this show. With all the scarfs, the hats (a collaboration by Stephen Jones for John Galliano), the jackets and accessories, its clear to see that Galliano Homme, indeed dresses the multi-layered modern man. The slouchy and super-uber relxaed vibe of the clothes were the perfect mix for the unexpected fluorescent shoes in the collection.
