Spring/Summer 2011. Lots of Canadian love along the front row at the Jeremy Laing show, from Fashion Television's Jeanne Beker & Flare Magazine's Liz Cabral to me, Jay Strut & Canadian fashionisto Adrian Mainella.. Some "not Canadian, but I think I love you's were" Susie Bubble of Style Bubble & Leigh Lezark sitting right across from me (whom was definitely cool to make awkward eye contact with!!).. The Jeremy Laing Spring Summer 2011 runway show hosted by Milk Studios earlier today at New York Fashion Week pretty much had me out of breath panting and begging for air.. Panting at how much I want those pair of shorts or a almost chain mail knit cape and begging to know how he thought of an almost/pretty much sheer dress with a built in leather skirt or for asymetri/geometri-cal color blocked maxi's and almost "see-through" enough to see boobies in grecian inspired draped dresses.. hmmm.. Jeremy Laing's Spring/Summer collection for 2011 brought out the classic aesthetic of spring & summer pieces like maxi dresses, loosely knitted sweaters and a flow that could make cotton in the wind look stiff with the modern touch & taste by use & manipulation of material, textures, colors & proportions. The color & fabric combo's that Jeremy Laing used for this collection were perfect for the edgy urbane soho chick fresh from a job or the upper east side boho beauty working the hottest fashion.. (Look at me go! p.s. I recently just got back from New York and can't wait to go back!!! Hence the NY references lol).. I love love love Jeremy Laing's collection, special thanks to Frank, Jeremy and the crew for having me!! Can't wait till' i see some menswear..
p.s. thank you to my baby girl April Wozny for helping make my NYFW haha!!!! <3 u girll..
